I love the heightened sense of awareness when you land in a new country for the first time. Wandering Cairo at night was no different. I explored the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, a major souk in the historic center of Islamic Cairo. The bazaar district is one of Cairo’s main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike.
I’m so thankful to live in the greatest city on earth (aside from Philadelphia) with a never ending treasure trove of photographic locations. This image was shot from Rixos the Palm at sunset, capturing 3 prestigious locations in one shot: Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Khalifa.
Last week in Dubai I had one of those once in a lifetime opportunities…. I photographed Yusuf Cat Stevens performing a private concert with 15 guests at the luxurious Burj Al Arab, the fifth tallest hotel in the world.
