I love the heightened sense of awareness when you land in a new country for the first time. Wandering Cairo at night was no different. I explored the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, a major souk in the historic center of Islamic Cairo. The bazaar district is one of Cairo’s main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike.
